This site was born in my heart after giving birth to the most amazing, beautiful, handsome, clever, and sweet little boy (nope, I’m not biased at all!) and spending countless hours searching for the best and most appropriate items to help him begin his journey on earth.  Many people have asked for my “sources” for nursery supplies and decor, meals, bath time, and play time, so I’m putting it all here for others to enjoy! 

 

I studied both interior design and advertising/media at two universities, and may or may not be slightly obsessed with color-coordinating my son’s closet, drawers, and toys…

 

My son has a currently unknown form of Muscular Dystrophy and mild sensory integration disorder, all of which have contributed to developmental delays in gross and fine motor skills, feeding, and drinking skills, and guide my purchasing choices for items and clothing that will best help him succeed.  I am in no way an expert in child development/early intervention, but will share what I’ve been learning in some of my posts.

 

As a working Mama, I have been incredibly blessed to find an amazing “ExtraordiNanny” to help care for my son, who loves him as much as I do!  Nanny Denise, of ExtraoradiNanny® LLC is also featured in this blog, sharing her training in Early Childhood Development, pre-school education, and American Sign Language (ASL) as she interacts with Kieran.
